Tonight, I suddenly craved some Shanghainese food. While walking through the mall, I saw a restaurant called 'Shanghai Grandma' and decided to give it a try. It was quite a pleasant surprise! 👍🏻 Pickled Pepper Fish Skin - The appetizer was already impressive. The fish skin was crispy and chewy, with a hint of spiciness and a bit of numbing sensation. The more I ate, the more I couldn't stop. It really whetted my appetite 🤤 Cucumber with Jellyfish - The jellyfish was a delightful surprise. The flavor was just right, not too salty. After these two appetizers, my stomach was ready for the main course 🤣 Boiled Beef in Chili Sauce - The spiciness was just right, and the beef was tender. A bite of beef with a bite of rice made for a perfect combination 👍🏻 I must also mention the tofu puffs, which absorbed all the flavors of the soup, making them incredibly tasty 😊 Grandma's Fried Rice - It was packed with ingredients, including plenty of cured meat and shrimp. Almost every bite had cured meat, adding to the texture. The fried rice was well-separated, showcasing the chef's skills 👍🏻 Overall, I was very satisfied with the meal.
