Weekend Brunch @ Olé

I like to spend the weekend relaxing the most! Going for brunch is definitely my favorite choice. On this day, I also went for a romantic Spanish-style brunch. It was so happy to spend a super relaxing lunch time with my friends. Olé, a time-honored Hong Kong restaurant specializing in authentic Spanish cuisine, has been in business for 26 years! A new 9-course Spanish Weekend Brunch is launched on weekends and public holidays. For only $498 per person (starting from two people), you can enjoy 6 appetizers, a main course, a daily selected Spanish Paella (all you can eat) and a dessert. It is a must-try choice for me because of its value for money. The environment inside the restaurant is super romantic! Even if you come during the day, you can still feel the Spanish atmosphere, and it is even more amazing if you come here for a date and dinner at night. The weather is so hot that as soon as you sit down, have a cup of Sparkling Water to cool down! Brunch has 3 Free Flow options ranging from $98 to $498. You can choose to enjoy seasonal juices, soda, Sangria, beer, sparkling wine, red wine and white wine according to your personal preferences. Of course, we upgraded to the Sangria. The waiter first put down country bread, homemade pickled Spanish olives and potatoes with olive sauce. Although I knew they tasted good, I still had to hold back! Because today’s brunch is super sumptuous, you must save some space. The first to come on stage was to share the appetizer of crispy fried Spanish Padron peppers! It is made with green peppers produced in Spain. After being fried, it tastes very sweet and delicious. It can also be eaten with the special flavorful Romesco sauce to make the taste of the green peppers more vivid. Next up is the air-dried ham with fresh tomato sauce packet which I really enjoyed! The salty and fragrant air-dried ham paired with the sweet tomato puree and the subtle aroma of garlic, this crispy tomato bun is so delicious. Then try this super classic signature dish, Shrimp with Garlic and Olive Oil! The fresh and chewy shrimps are immersed in boiling olive oil. The aroma of the shrimps, which are simply seasoned with garlic slices, onions and olive oil, is lingering. Squid with parsley and garlic is actually cuttlefish! The charred cuttlefish cubes are chewy and full of flavor, and the addition of minced garlic, parsley and lemon juice makes its flavor outstanding. A bowl of Andalusian tomato gazpacho is perfect for hot weather! In addition to my favorite tomatoes, there are also cucumbers and olive oil. The rich and fragrant frozen soup is very sweet and refreshing, and I feel very comfortable drinking it. At the end we also got the chicken croquettes with Iberian ham! The fried meatballs are very crispy and filled with a smooth white sauce, as well as fried Iberian ham, chicken and onions. In addition to the aroma, the taste is also very attractive. Olé will select one of several signature Spanish traditional Paellas as a daily special for guests to eat unlimitedly! These include seafood, chicken, Valencia and squid ink seafood Paella. We had the traditional Iberian pork and Spanish sausage Paella that day. The big double-handled flat-bottomed round pan was filled with ingredients, and the bottom was filled with the aroma of pork and sausage. It was so tempting. The fragrant rice is full of the aroma of Iberian pork and Spanish sausage. It is very evil but extremely delicious. If you have a seat, you really have to eat a few more rounds. For the main course, we chose the Mediterranean-style octopus with tomato sauce for an additional $48. I highly recommend that you pay extra to enjoy this octopus. The super strong tentacles are made from fresh food, and the Mediterranean spices make the octopus very flavorful. It is very chewy and the more you eat, the more delicious it becomes. It is one of the top three delicious octopuses I have eaten in Hong Kong. For another main course we chose the wicked Segovia-style roast suckling pig! The super fatty roast suckling pork is rich in flavor, and the pork skin is still crispy when you eat it while it’s hot! The side dishes of salad and French fries will satisfy even the biggest eaters. There were also guitarists playing and singing on site, making the brunch even more romantic. Finally, each of us got a Spanish dessert. My friend chose red wine slow-cooked pears with strawberry ice cream. I heard that the pears were very flavorful and not too sweet, and it was even more attractive when served with frozen strawberry ice cream. I chose the traditional Spanish caramel pudding! The textured pudding was full of caramel aroma, but I was so full that I could only eat half of it before giving up! You can imagine how rich this brunch is. The nine-course Spanish Weekend Brunch is available from now until October 27, every weekend and public holidays from 11:30am to 3:30pm. If you want to enjoy this Weekend Brunch with great value for money, you must make a reservation quickly.
