While seeking shelter from the rain, I stumbled upon this small and quiet CARBS at the ground floor of H Code😎. The restaurant is run by an American who aims to bring American flavors to Hong Kong with Chicago-style Pizza🍕, pasta, milkshakes, and more🇺🇸. The interior is stylish, decorated mainly in black and white, exuding a sense of design🩶. There aren't many seats for dining in, but there's a small open dining area on the ground floor of H Code for people to eat right after purchasing👍🏽. Many others opt for takeout🥡. ✝️The Italian Job $128 A 6”x8” medium-sized Pizza, made to order with an abundance of semi-melted hot cheese that still stretches even after cooling down🧀️. The thick crust is the most enticing part of Chicago Pizza, and even though the wheat aroma isn't very prominent, the crispy edges and fluffy interior are irresistible💘. It's also loaded with ham and bacon slices🥓, giving each bite a full flavor of savory goodness and tomato sauce🍕. ✝️Spicy Vodka Fusilli $108 The homemade sauce is a blend of tomato sauce, fresh buffalo cheese, and cream🍝, with vodka added to elevate the aroma to another level. The overall taste is a combination of salty, sweet, sour, and spicy😋, very appetizing (although it can be a bit heavy if eaten in large amounts). The fusilli is cooked to a perfect al dente with a bit of chewiness, which goes perfectly with the thick and creamy sauce, making it super indulgent😈. ✝️Pizza Cookie $88 CARBS also collaborates with its sister brand—Cookie Department @cookie.dpt, offering two exclusive soft-centered cookie desserts😉. The chocolate chip and red velvet cookies serve as the base, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, letting you experience the signature tender texture of Cookie Department🍪. Topped with red velvet ganache and white chocolate chunks, it adds layers to the texture. However, after having a few pieces, it can be quite sweet and rich, especially after eating Pizza and Pasta, so it's recommended to share with a few more people🤝🏼.
