Cleaning the Dragon's Back Trail on Hong Kong Island for the third time

Last Sunday, our family of three hiked to Longji for the third time and participated in a charity hiking and cleaning activity, which was meaningful and interesting. Dragon's Back Trail is the first choice for many Hong Kong people for outdoor hiking. The scenery is magnificent and you can overlook the beautiful sea view from the top. The starting point is at Section 8 of the Hong Kong Trail on Shek O Road near Tudi Wan Village. Climb up to the viewing platform on Dalanchengding Mountain to overlook Shek O, Big Wave Bay and Tung Lung Island. Walk further and you will reach the top of the Dragon's Back Hiking Trail - Dragon's Back Viewing Platform, where you can sit on a bench to take a break and enjoy the poetic scenery of Stanley Peninsula, Tai Tam Bay and even Lamma Island. Continue forward, pass the pavilion, and walk down about a thousand stone steps, through the village houses, and finally reach Big Wave Bay with clear water and fine sand. The whole journey is about 8.5 kilometers and takes 4 hours.
