Frankly, compared with the size of the rooms that cost us similar amount of money, the room here was obviously less sizeable. However, the saving grace was that we were lucky enough to be offered a room on the upper floor overlooking the hustle and bustle below. The high ceiling of the room and the unique view outside could make up for the size matter of the room. If we were tourists from a non-Chinese background, we would've been amazed by the traditional Chinese style decoration of the room. But sadly we were Chinese locals, the old Chinese things looked a little hilarious if not comical to us. However, the location of the hotel couldn't be better because it was literally surrounded by loads of popular and famous restaurants including Lin Heung Kui 蓮香居, Kau Kee Food Cafe 九記牛腩, Tsim Chai Kee Noodle 沾仔記, etc. The room type we booked was the most purse-friendly which cost about $450 for each person How many stars did the hotel have? 3 star Highlight of the hotel?
