Hiking up Tao Fung Shan Christian Center - Shatin

Tao Fung Shan Christian Center is located in Shatin , Hong Kong. It can be reached by hiking from the Shatin metro station and will take approximately 30 -45 minutes uphill. The road is not steep but does have steps along the way. The complex include a chapel , a library, a gallery, a 12 meters high cross, a lotus pond and a labyrinth. The architecture of the the chapel is very much in the traditional Chinese design, but infused with Christian elements. Walking further into the premise is the 12 meter high cross which stands at the edge of the hill. The breathtaking view of Shatin is definitely worth checking out. Another interesting site is the labyrinth at the entrance of the center, which is meant to be a place for visitors to calm down and clear their minds after the short hike uphill.
