Second Draft: A popular restaurant and bar in Causeway Bay, serving local craft beer and Eastern and Western fusion snacks

A friend returned to Hong Kong from Canada for a summer vacation and said he wanted to go to a bar to relax. When looking for a suitable bar in Causeway Bay, we found Second Draft this restaurant bar, which offers local craft beer and Chinese and Western snacks. Located on the ground floor of Fashion Walk in Causeway Bay, this restaurant has a simple and spacious indoor-outdoor seating design that allows customers with different preferences to feel comfortable and relaxed. Since there are dozens of craft beers on the menu, I decided to get a waiter to help introduce them. After their careful explanation and understanding our preferences, they recommended two craft beers made in Hong Kong. 柏林居酒屋【少爷酿酒厂，HK】。 Berliner Weisse w/ Yuzu Peel & Sansho • 4.5% ABV (400ml $87, 200ml $55) This sour beer is brewed with grapefruit peels and bell peppers paired with traditional Berlin wheat beer. This beer has the sourness of lactic acid bacteria, paired with the refreshing taste of grapefruit and the spicy, fresh orange and salty flavors of mountain pepper. It is the best choice to cool down in the summer. 1842年岛【Young Master Brewery, HK】（本地） Imperial IPA • 8% ABV • 80 /BU (400ml $93 200ml $59) The hop-heavy one is an Indian pale ale with a higher alcohol concentration of about 8%, with spicy, floral and citrus aromas, and the sweetness of malt in the mouth for a long aftertaste. For snacks with wine, the restaurant recommended four to us: 1. Jelly Chicken Wings Casserole $138 - Cooked in homemade buffalo sauce and blue cheese, the flavor is rich and the freshness of parsley is more prominent 2. Spicy Beef Tongue $58 - Stewed in a slow cooker with spicy sour sauce 3. Red Oil Shrimp Dumplings $98 - Wrapped in homemade buffalo sauce and fresh shrimp meat, with the spicy flavor of chili oil, it’s mouth-watering 4.
