An ancient temple full of history🛕

The Yau Ma Tei Tin Hau Temple was built around 1865 by water residents and moved to its present location in 1876. In 1928, the Yau Ma Tei Tin Hau Temple and its properties were officially handed over to the Kwong Wah Hospital by the Chinese Temples Committee. In 1931, the then Tung Wah Hospital, Kwong Wah Hospital and Tung Wah Eastern Hospital were officially announced to be unified as the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, and the Yau Ma Tei Fuk Tak Temple was therefore taken over by the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals. The temple was renovated in 1972, and the Yau Ma Tei City God Temple was added and incorporated into the temple complex. Together with the Yau Ma Tei She Tan, Yau Ma Tei Tin Hau Temple and Yau Ma Tei College, there are a total of five temples operating in the district.
