June 20th of each year is actually World Refugee Day (WRD), an international day designated by the United Nations to support refugees around the world. This year I had the opportunity to participate in the press conference, which gave me a deeper understanding! Due to war, religion and other factors, there are more than 100 million refugees in the world. It is heartbreaking to see them displaced. This time I participated in a very meaningful and touching event. The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees specially invited artists from all over the world to paint the stories of the displaced people on the outer walls of the city! We hope to use mural art 🎨 to give refugees a voice 📣 and communicate with the community! ❤️ A storytelling tour guide service is also provided to take the public to explore the artworks. Limited edition mural T-shirts add fun to the interaction🥳 At the same time, the 16th Charity Refugee Film Festival will be used as a visual channel to continue to show the experience of escape💟 Continue to support refugee education and promote refugee handicrafts (MADE51) to help refugees rebuild their lives with skills! 💟The four murals are located at: Queen's Road East, Wan Chai St Francis Street facade The Vine Church And the Blue House exhibition The other two photos will be located in the lobby of Eaton Hotel in Jordan and outside the Refugee Service Center in Chungking Mansions in Tsim Sha Tsui. 7 artists used their unique painting styles to interpret the refugees' stories to the public through artistic creations, and thereby raise society's attention to refugee rescue!
