Return to the Original Heart • Garden Vegetarian OVO Cafe

When I visited OVO Cafe again, I found that it has been changed back to being operated independently by OVO Group; returning to the basics and returning to the original intention. OVO Studio and OVO Garden are still there, adding elements of modern art and greenery to this Bauhaus-style Grade III historic building. The restaurant adopts a gardening design: green walls, orchid bonsai, and solid wood tables and chairs, giving a feeling of dining in a garden. Looking up, there are multiple rattan balls and grass balls hanging from the ceiling, connected by rattan mats and branches, rotating in the air along orbits like planets. Vegetarian food makes people more approachable. I was happy to meet one of the founders, Dan Lee, that evening. He is gentle, elegant and polite, and so are all the employees. Organic mango and grapefruit salad with Japanese salad dressing The salad is full of pastoral flavor, containing a variety of organic vegetables, especially cherry tomatoes and mangoes. It is paired with Japanese salad dressing, which is light and appetizing, and looks refreshing. Thai Tom Yum Pasta (Five Spicy Spicy) The pasta has a strong coconut aroma and a slightly spicy Tom Yum Goong flavor, and is filled with a variety of fresh mushrooms and vegetable ingredients. The pasta is just the right amount of soft and hard, and the sauce is top-notch. The pasta dishes are much better than the last time I visited, which was a pleasant surprise. Impossible Meat Pancakes (Spicy Vegetables, Milk) After being skillfully made by the chef, the crust is thin, crispy and delicious. The pizza is filled with cheese, vegetables, vegetarian meat, cherry tomatoes and other ingredients. The vegetarian meat is really similar to real food. Fresh Passion Fruit Soda This drink comes with a variety of fresh fruits: banana, watermelon, pineapple, lemon, mango and dragon fruit. It tastes slightly sweet and sour, very appetizing, and the appearance is very attractive. Bamboo tube coconut jelly taro soft serve ice cream This dessert is served in a real big bamboo tube, with coconut flakes and milk ice cream covered with frozen taro balls, which are crystal clear, soft, and cute. There is a thick layer of coconut milk jelly at the bottom of the bamboo tube.
