Tzu Chi Environmental Protection Center

At first glance, the building seems to be surrounded by bamboo forests, which contrasts with the high-rise buildings next to it. After more than two years of renovation, the Tzu Chi Environmental Protection Museum was finally officially opened to the public on November 20, 2021. It is open to the public for free from today. The museum exhibits the interactive ink installation work "Sigh" by artist Zhang Hanqian. There is also a large wooden shark installation by carpenter artist Lin Chi, hoping that citizens can feel the increase in carbon emissions over the past half century and awaken their awareness of environmental protection. The co-curators also hope to incorporate artistic elements into environmental protection so that the audience does not have to watch a boring, didactic exhibition. The Gongxing Pavilion will arrange a series of activities for the public to participate in.
