French colonial architecture

Vietnam was once a French colony. When walking in the bustling urban areas of Vietnam, you will always see some historical traces left over from the colonial period. Notre Dame Cathedral in Ho Chi Minh City is one of the monuments full of colonial footprints. When I came to the cathedral, I learned that the cathedral will be temporarily closed until further notice due to renovation and maintenance work in progress. Although you cannot go inside to see the decoration design inside the cathedral, a series of information is displayed outside the wall. Visitors can learn more about the overall appearance and interior of the cathedral based on the display boards outside the cathedral wall. I hope that the repair work will be completed as soon as possible so that tourists can feel the aura of Notre Dame Cathedral outside France!
