I recommend choosing an overwater villa with a private pool, so you can jump into the sea for snorkeling anytime. Be sure to order fresh coconut for afternoon tea, paired with Maldives' special tuna sashimi—absolutely amazing~ Day 3-4 Island snorkeling + sunset cruise A must-do! Our hotel (Furaveri Island) has an amazing coral reef where we saw turtles and clownfish schools 🐠 Remember to book the sunset cruise in advance; champagne with the sunset is full of romance! Day 5 SPA day + starlit dinner Highly recommend the Thalgo Spa treatment package; an essential oil massage facing the sea is so enjoyable~ In the evening, we booked a beach candlelight dinner, and remember to ask the hotel to set up a rose petal bed~ Day 6 Local island experience Visited the local fishing village Maafushi, the colorful houses are perfect for photos. Bought hand-painted lacquerware as souvenirs, much cheaper than on the resort islands! Day 7 Last snorkeling before leaving the island Seized the last chance to visit the coral garden again, reluctant to leave this pure blue~ 🏡 Accommodation Recommendations: · Furaveri Island Overwater Villa (with glass floor) · Milaidhoo Island Beach Villa (very private) 🍹 Food Highlights: · Ithaa Underwater Restaurant (the world's first all-glass underwater restaurant) · Seafood BBQ (freshly caught and grilled lobster is amazing) · Maldives Milk Tea (a special version with coconut milk) 💡 Useful Tips: 1. Remember to bring enough sunscreen! It's very expensive on the island 2. Bring UK standard plug adapters 3. Prepare small change for tips, $1-5 4.
