Japan's National Treasure Castle Tour - Himeji Castle

Japan is home to many ancient and stunning castles, and Himeji Castle is undoubtedly one of the most stunning. Himeji Castle, located in Hyogo Prefecture, is one of the most famous castles in Japan. I had the pleasure of visiting this castle! Himeji Castle has gone through many wars and restorations. Despite this the main structure of the castle remains quite intact. During World War II, Himeji Castle was fortunately spared from being bombed and became one of the best-preserved ancient cities in Japan. With its white exterior walls and tiled roofs, it stands in the center of the city like a white egret. I climbed up the winding stone steps and finally reached the castle and headed towards the main building. Standing on the top of the castle's main building, you can overlook the entire city. The castle is surrounded by a lush garden and in the distance is the vast land. Standing on the top of the castle, I can feel the historical atmosphere of the castle, as if time has gone back to the end of the shogunate. The historical and architectural value of Himeji Castle has made it a national treasure of Japan and a world cultural heritage site, attracting tourists from all over the world.
