You'll be taken to a lounge overlooking the majestic Suruga Bay and be served a welcome drink (wine or tea). Hana dolls and hanging dolls are displayed next to the lounge, and the view from the bar counter is amazing. I was excited to hear that I could eat Ise lobster, abalone, and other seafood from Izu while grilling it in a smokeless roaster. The fried rockfish and boiled red sea bream were both amazing! The self-service hot spring eggs that you can take from a hot water basket are also excellent. The dried fish that you eat while grilling for breakfast was also really tasty, so we bought some at the souvenir corner and took them home. The hallways of Ishihanaumi are covered with tatami mats, and there are no slippers, so you walk around the building wearing the tabi socks provided. All rooms have an ocean view💕💕 We didn't have a room with an open-air bath, but it was relaxing to watch the ocean turn red with the setting sun and the sunrise from the open-air bath on the top floor.
