Kinchakuda Park, Saitama

#cherryblossom25 Kinchakuda Park is better known for its red spider lilies in the fall, but springtime? Totally underrated. I visited during early sakura bloom and was blown away by how peaceful and wild it felt. The cherry trees here grow alongside the Koma River, and they’re surrounded by soft green hills and open skies. I hiked a bit through the forest trails before finding a wide stretch of sakura lining the riverside, reflected in the water like a mirror. There was no crowd — just nature, the sound of birds, and a few locals walking their dogs. I used my drone to get a sweeping river shot for my #cherryblossom25 post and it turned out incredible. If you’re looking for a rustic, off-the-grid hanami spot that feels like a secret garden, Kinchakuda hits all the right notes.
