One-Day Tour of Gupo Mountain in Hezhou

Gupo Mountain National Forest Park is located in the mid-subtropical climate zone, with an average annual temperature of 18.2°C and a forest coverage rate of 99.55%. There are 25 peaks over 1,000 meters above sea level in the park, with the highest peak reaching 1,844 meters, making it the highest peak in eastern Guangxi. With over 90 waterfalls, 16 of which have a drop of more than 20 meters, the park is known as a rare "forest waterfall spectacle" in China. The abundant water flow results in a high concentration of negative oxygen ions, reaching 150,000 per cubic centimeter, earning the park the title of the largest "natural forest oxygen bar" in South China. In addition, the forest park is a natural kingdom of flora and fauna, home to over 180 species of wild animals and 1,200 species of plants, including national first-class protected species like tree ferns and second-class protected species such as Alsophila podophylla, Fokienia hodginsii, and Cibotium barometz.
