It was once an important "gateway" to Lianzhou in history, witnessing the cultural and historical changes of Hepu County. The structure and design of Hui'ai Bridge are ingenious and superb, ranking first in Guangxi and rare in the whole country. It is a cultural relic protection unit of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The bridge is a three-hinged arch A-frame structure, with brick-cut arch-shaped drainage holes set next to the bridge piers. The bridge is entirely made of wood, and the timber is Kun Ding wood from Indonesia, which is hard and resistant to decay. It has always been a passage for local people to travel between the two banks. The location of the ancient bridge is the old street, and the century-old buildings with Chinese and French elements on both sides are also very distinctive. There are also many people who come to visit. The local area is now repairing the river embankments on both sides to create a comfortable and leisurely walking space.
