Hengyang Museum: See National Treasures 🪘 Exhibition Guide

A. 'Chatter 🪭': The "Hunan Stories in Relics from Thousands of Years Ago" (Hengyang Exhibition) is now open! Come and enjoy it! The exhibition features 10 national treasures from the Hunan Museum, 44 cultural relics from the Hengyang Museum, and a treasure from the Guizhou Museum. It's so valuable! Chinese aesthetics and romance spanning thousands of years. Don't miss it during the National Day holiday! B. 'Exhibition Guide 📽️': Tips 🏷️: Please be civilized and don't make loud noises. Turn off the flash when taking photos 📸. Opening hours 🎫: 9:00–12:00, 13:00–17:00 Closed on Mondays (except public holidays) 🆓 🧩 The exhibition is divided into three sections: 1️⃣ Bronze King Chinese bronzes were popular during the Shang and Zhou dynasties. The Fang Lei (罍) is here! It's so spectacular! Majestic and exquisite, it is known as the "King of Fang Lei"! The body of the vessel was lost overseas for nearly a century. In 2014, public and private institutions worked together to bring it back to Hunan. The museum's permanent treasure: the ox-shaped bronze gong (觥) was unearthed in Hengyang. It's so cute! There are also other important bronzes, such as the snake-patterned bronze zun (尊) and the dragon-shaped bronze jian (简). You can also play the bronze nao (铙) on site. It's so fun! 2️⃣ Hengshan Mountain Wang Chuanshan, who is known as the "Twin Star of Eastern and Western Philosophy" along with Hegel, was born in Hengyang, Hunan Province. He was a thinker, scholar, poet, and lyricist during the Ming and Qing dynasties, and one of the "Four Great Enlightenment Thinkers". There is a guqin performance on site! The stone plaque of "Chuanshan Academy" and the "Duyou Qin" collected by Chuanshan are also on display. 3️⃣ Oriental Art The "72 Peaks of Mount Heng" painting, the flower-patterned silver plate, and the Liling kiln are so beautiful! Stamp 🕹️: Remember to bring a notebook 📒. There are 5 stamps! At the information desk on the left side of the museum entrance 💁🏻‍♀️. C.
