The best budget hotel on Shanghai's Bund has been found

Hotel Environment: The hotel is located near the Bund, and the interior decoration shows that it was quite lavish. It would have been very beautiful ten years ago, but now it obviously feels a bit old. The space is quite large, and occasionally you can see young ladies taking photos inside. Stay Experience: After getting off the car, someone helped us with our luggage. We arrived after 11 am, before the check-in time, so we left our luggage at the concierge and went out to have fun. We checked in after 7 pm. Upon entering, there is a cloakroom, followed by a large bathroom, and then a big bed, a sofa, and inside that room, there is a desk and a lounge chair. The bath products are from Aesop. We didn't see any tissues in the room; we ordered takeout ourselves. For the takeout, we had to go downstairs to pick it up. Occasionally, you can hear the sound when the neighboring room rings the doorbell, but overall, it's still quite quiet. Breakfast Experience: The breakfast buffet has very, very few varieties and isn't very tasty. However, I think the soy milk is quite authentic, not made from powder. The corn is dry and seems to have been sitting for a while, lacking moisture. The fruits are fairly fresh. The variety of dishes available to order is not very large, and some may be disappointing. However, the pancakes, French toast, and roasted beef are quite delicious (the quality of the roasted beef is inconsistent, some are extremely tough, some are still bloody). But what deserves praise is that the waitresses all have a very good attitude! Conclusion: Overall, the feeling is quite average. The value for money is not very high. A hotel that costs nearly 4000 RMB per night doesn't feel any different from one that costs 2000 RMB. I will try other hotels in the future, but if you haven't stayed here before, it's still worth experiencing.
