✨ I have to say, taking the whole family on a trip during the Lunar New Year is a real test of patience. ✨ Although there were some bumps along the way, we managed to complete the itinerary and experience the romantic desolation of the Northwest. 🎉 Day 1: Shanghai ✈️ Xi'an Visit the Terracotta Warriors Visit the Great Tang All Day Mall at night 🎉 Day 2: Xi'an 🚗 Yinchuan (8:00 departure, 7 hours) Yinchuan Guoqiang Shouzhuarou ✨ Play: Huaiyuan Night Market, Lanshan Park was under maintenance so we didn't see it. 🎉 Day 3: Yinchuan 🚗 Alxa Hero Festival Yinchuan Wuhu Crossing, CNY 1,200, we went to three lakes and couldn't go any further. Even the motion sickness medicine didn't help. The Helan Mountain Rock Art is worth seeing, but the ice sculptures inside are not that great. 🎉 Day 4: Yinchuan 🚘 Zhongwei (200 km, 3 hours) Zhongwei Desert Hotel ✨ Play: Western Xia Imperial Tombs, experience the culture of the Western Xia Dynasty from 1,000 years ago. Play at Shapotou 🎉 Day 5: Zhongwei 🚕 Lanzhou (300 km, 4 hours) Route 66, no one there during the off-season, great for photos. Lanzhou Danxia, we later found out that there are mountain view rooms in the scenic area, the view inside should be even better! 🎉 Day 6: Lanzhou 🚗 Tianshui (Qinling Tunnel) 🚗 Xi'an (600 km, 7 hours) Maijishan Grottoes
