🏔️Review Dagu Glacier, the highest park in Chengdu! 🇨🇳

Nature lovers who like to visit parks, if you have a chance to visit Chengdu, please consider adding “Dagu Pingchuan” or “Dagu Glacier” to your list..🗻 Dagu Pingchuan is a park where it snows all year round. The peak where people can go up to take pictures is at an altitude of 4860 m, the highest elevation in Chengdu..🌳 This park is located in Heishui City. On this Chengdu trip, we will spend about 2 days and 1 night in this city. ⊹ On the first day, we arrived in Heishui at around 3 pm, so we called DiDi to our accommodation. ⊹ We walked around taking pictures of the view around our accommodation. The light was very beautiful. The camera was bright and the colors were beautiful. The weather was just right, around 10 degrees. ⊹ The weather here gets colder as it gets later. We put a bottle of water outside the window and it turned into cold water. But the heater in the room was very warm. We slept well. ⊹ On the morning of the second day, we woke up early to go to the park because we were afraid that there would be a lot of people + we would travel to another city that afternoon. So we had to make up some time. ⊹ The temperature in front of the park that morning was -2 degrees, but the wind wasn't too strong. —- ⊹ The outfit I wore to face the weather that day was 👚 Heattech 1 + Heattech turtleneck 2 + thick woolen outer shirt 3 👖 For the lower body, I wore a Heattech inner shirt + a pair of jeans on the outside 👟 I wore another pair of thick long socks and then put on sneakers —- ⊹ At the bottom of the park, I still felt that the outfit I wore that day was still enough. I could still walk and take pictures normally ⊹ When I took the cable car to the top, the temperature increased to 0 degrees. From the numbers, it should be warmer, but in reality, it was colder than before. It was warmer because the sun on the mountain was very strong, but the cold wind up there was very strong. Especially with all the snow around, the wind blew even colder. ⊹ Because the sun was very strong, I didn't really check the pictures when I took the pictures. Because I couldn't see the screen, I focused on pressing as many buttons as I could and then choosing later. ⊹ We spent about 2 hours on the mountain because we had taken enough pictures + we couldn't stay any longer, so we took the Cable Car down. ⊹ Since we went up first, there weren't many people coming back down. On the Cable Car down, there were only us and my friend, so we continued taking pictures. But because we were so high up, we started to feel dizzy and nauseous after moving around a lot. Altitude sickness started to set in (AMS), so we just stopped and sat there until we reached the bottom. ⊹ When we got down a bit, it was okay, so we went back to get our bags and quickly called DiDi to the bus station to take us to Maoxian City. —- 💰Park entrance fee = 1990 / person, including round-trip Cable Car. ***Ticket prices vary each month.
