captured happiness.

Its not easy to get a shot from a stranger when traveling, and its not easy to get a heartfelt laugh. When I arrive in Hawaii, Im in the Dinosaur Bay, on the volcanic island, in the Polynesian Cultural Center, Im seeing sweet smiles; I have been to a lot of places I have been to, but it is still the first time that so many laughs are so full! A person who is new to Hawaii will notice that the locals use the little finger and thumb to type a gesture that the Chinese call "6". This gesture is very common in Hawaii. Anyone, be it a passerby, a surfer, a bank teller Or the news broadcaster will play this gesture, here the gesture means "great", "thank you", "everything is fine." This gesture called shaka is not a general body language. When I laughed and learned to play this gesture, I said "Easy", "Everything is OK" and raised the camera of the other hand. In exchange for this kind of laughter that can break into the heart of the field, at this time I feel that I am slowly understanding the meaning of Hawaiian culture, while realizing and feeling that I have integrated into the life of Hawaiians.
