Golden Buddha in hat yai

One of the main tourist attraction is this giant golden Buddha located in the northern parts of the city. located in municipal park, this massive Buddha is a view not to miss. not only is it an impressive piece of architecture, the area is on top of a mountain. From the top you can appreciate the wonderful cityscape and the songkla lake which is visible from this mountain. As well as that, there are various Hindu temple to explore nearby the Buddha. if taking the cable car is not your thing, one can easily hike to the top, within 1 hour. The cable car is 400 thai baht for foreigners and 200 for locals. deffo worthwhile!
