Harwich to Hook of Holland by ferry🇳🇱⛴️

I started my journey in Harwich where I would later on take a 8hr night crossing with Stena line on the now 2nd biggest ferry in the world Stena Britannica. I had some food in the nearby Wetherspoons and had a walk along the beach as I had some time to kill. Harwich is a port town in Essex on the North Sea coast and is contiguous with Dovercourt and the two along with Parkeston are often referred to collectively as Harwich. Nearby places include Felixstowe to the north-east , Ipswich to the north-west and Colchester and Clayton on sea to the south and south west . There are regular train services from Harwich international port (ferry terminal) to Harwich town and Dovercourt which takes about five minutes. I boarded the giant ferry and went up on deck to enjoy a pint 🍺 and watched as we left for Holland passing the port of Felixstowe . The ship has bars , restaurants quiet lounges and cinemas , two duty free shops and a casino 🎰 I would also recommend the stena plus lounge for £18 extra with comfortable quiet areas and complimentary food and drinks .👍 I then went straight to my en-suite cabin (single inside no window ) which cost me £50 and slept till the morning ! We arrived in the hook of Holland at 8am and I got up earlier to have a breakfast buffet in the cafe and to check out the sunrise over the hook of Holland 🇳🇱 and took some great pics. Would highly recommend Stenaline tho and the ship ,food and my accommodation I really couldn’t fault 🙋🏻‍♂️
