Saint Sophia Cathedral

#harbintrip Saint Sophia is as stunning as it looks in the photos, perhaps because it is in China! Inside is “distressed” with some paintings and decoration but somehow all the more stunning as a result. The church doubles up as an art gallery - displaying atmospheric paintings of old Harbin when we visited - and our visit, as for a previous reviewer, was considerably enhanced by a wonderful solo pianist. There is a small entry fee. The church is located in a big square with a couple of unusual structures but not as attractive as the church itself
