Snow Viewing in Xi'an: Longtou Mountain Guide

Longtou Mountain is a must-see destination in winter when it snows. The snow scenery here is breathtaking. You can easily reach the mountain by high-speed rail. Climbing the mountain is also easy because there is an elevator. The cost performance is very high. ⏰Time: One day is enough for a round trip, but it is more recommended to stay overnight on the mountain. This way, you will have more time and may be able to enjoy the sea of clouds while admiring the snow scenery. In addition, the accommodation is cost-effective, and the accommodation fee includes the entrance ticket, which is almost free. You can also enjoy the tranquility after the scenic area is closed. 🚦Transportation: You can choose to drive or take the high-speed rail. Both ways are convenient. It takes about 3 hours to drive and only 1 hour by high-speed rail. After arriving, you can choose to charter a car at the station, which costs about CNY 150 per car. The bus fare is CNY 40 per person for a single trip and CNY 68 per person for a round trip. 🏨Accommodation: There are two hotels on the mountain. Yunshang Hotel is close to the elevator terminal, and Aisnow Hotel is next to the ski resort. You can choose according to your preference. Both hotels include double tickets, cable cars, and breakfast. We chose Yunshang Hotel. The elegant style of Yunshang is more Chinese, a little older, and has no elevator; Yunshang is newer and has an elevator. 🍝Dining: Convenience stores, snack bars, burger shops, hot pot restaurants, and Yunshang Restaurant are all very affordable. 🗺️Itinerary: Day 1: Wake up naturally—Take the high-speed rail to Hanzhong—Have a meal at Yanba Fish Restaurant in the city (recommended yellow catfish)—Go up the mountain to take photos and enjoy the rime and sunset—Check in to the hotel. Day 2: Get up early for breakfast and watch the sunrise—Visit Longtou Plank Road and enjoy the sea of clouds—Go down the mountain—Have a meal in the city—Take the high-speed rail back. ❗Tips: Non-accommodation visitors need to enter before 15:30, and accommodation visitors need to enter before 17:00.
