There is one hotel in Hanoi, Vietnam that has this special quality. ‘Sofitel Legend Metropole Hotel’. Built in the early 1900s and still in operation today, the Metropole Hotel is a hotel that is too good to be true. ⠀ - I couldn’t stay there because of the expensive room price, but it is one of the hotels I definitely want to stay at if I get the chance. Inside the hotel, there is a bunker where you can experience the Vietnam War firsthand, and free tours are often held for guests. In addition, it is a hotel visited by world-famous celebrities. ⠀ - You can witness and experience famous people’s sites, such as Charlie Chaplin’s honeymoon destination, the hotel bar visited by Angelina Jolie, and the visits of world leaders. Isn’t this also a ‘content’ for enjoying the hotel!? The Metropole Hotel, which became even more famous in Korea after the 2nd North American Summit, was held there. To feel the long history of fame, we headed to ‘Bamboo Bar’ where you can feel the peacefulness of nature. ⠀ 📍Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi ‘Bamboo Bar’ - The scent of nature itself The name ‘Bamboo Bar’ brings peace of mind. From the entrance, you can feel the European style of the hotel interior, and the Bamboo Bar located right in front of the swimming pool that feels like a peaceful garden of a rich man’s mansion. It is the best poolside bar that can create a classy atmosphere of relaxation in the city. ⠀ This space is unified in wood tones. Although it is an artificial place, it feels like you have entered nature. The peaceful small swimming pool and European atmosphere that will relieve the sweltering heat of Hanoi unfolding before your eyes will allow you to enjoy another unique experience of your Hanoi trip. ⠀ - Hanoi city retreat is here It is a great place to visit for a quick cup of coffee or a simple meal, but it would be even better if you enjoyed swimming and felt the atmosphere here as a guest. Comfortable interior sofa seats that create a relaxing atmosphere. Terrace seats where you can enjoy a drink while looking at the peaceful pool. You can also enjoy it by lying on the sunbed by the pool. The overall composition is perfect. ⠀ However, one of the reasons I wanted to enjoy it while staying. Since it is an open bar, you have to enjoy it while feeling the sweltering heat of Hanoi that is over 30 degrees.
