For a trip to Hangzhou, I recommend this West Lake hiking route

In late spring and early summer, the air is filled with the fragrance of plants. The most suitable season for hiking in Hangzhou is here! I have compiled 5️⃣ hiking routes in the West Lake Scenic Area. No professional equipment or mountain climbing is required. Take a leisurely stroll around West Lake and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the lake and mountains. 1️⃣ Orioles Singing in the Willows ➡️ Xueshi Park ➡️ Changqiao Park ➡️ China National Silk Museum Orioles Singing in the Willows is one of the ten scenic spots of West Lake. Check out the New Henghe Bridge in the Land of Oz. Xueshi Park is low-key but very beautiful, and the key is that there are very few tourists. Changqiao is not long and is one of the three wonders of West Lake. You can take pictures of Leifeng Pagoda at sunset. ✅ If you have time, be sure to walk to the Silk Museum to take great photos. 2️⃣ Yuhu Bay ➡️ Turtle Pool ➡️ Yanggong Causeway ➡️ Maojiabu The sculling boat on the west line of West Lake is very popular, but hiking is also very beautiful. Stroll along the lake and see more attractions. Walk north from Yuhu Bay to Maojiabu, or in the opposite direction. ⚠️ For easy photography, it is best to stay on the east bank in the morning and the west bank in the afternoon. 3️⃣ Taiziwan Park ➡️ Fish Viewing at Flower Harbor ➡️ Su Causeway Taiziwan, where the tulips have withered, can still be beautiful. The most ideal route is to go to Jing Temple and Leifeng Pagoda, and then go to Taiziwan along the way. After shopping, go to Fish Viewing at Flower Harbor on the opposite side, and then walk from south to north along Su Causeway. ⚠️ There are 6 bridges on Su Causeway, which is more than 2 km long. If you have average foot strength, you can take a sightseeing bus in the scenic area after walking halfway to change the way you visit. 4️⃣ Beishan Street ➡️ Lotus in the Breeze at the Winding Courtyard ➡️ Su Causeway ➡️ Gushan Road ➡️ Bai Causeway This route is suitable for most Travelers. Starting from the Broken Bridge, stroll along Beishan Street to Lotus in the Breeze at the Winding Courtyard. Pass the Yudai Qinghong Bridge to the north entrance of Su Causeway, and then go to Gushan and Bai Causeway. There are many attractions along the way, which are beautiful, but there are also many tourists. 5️⃣ Santai Mountain Road ➡️ Yuhu Bay ➡️ Huiyin Goryeo Temple ➡️ Maojiabu This is a very niche route, very quiet along the way. Check out the ancient Huiyin Goryeo Temple, and the photos are very artistic. ✅ When you get to Maojiabu, the recently blooming water lilies are very popular. The detailed location is at the intersection of Santai Mountain Road and Longjing Branch Road. ✅ Tips Do a good job of sun protection when hiking, and bring your own drinking water and snacks to replenish your energy.
