Dance and be carefree

The Book of Rites states: "Educate the sons of the nation with the proper way, and teach them the six arts: first, the five rites; second, the six music; third, the five archery skills; fourth, the five horsemanship skills; fifth, the six types of writing; and sixth, the nine mathematical skills." In the late spring, coinciding with the 15th anniversary of Amanfayun, I also experienced the six arts of a gentleman here, explored the elegant affairs of the past, and enjoyed the unrestrained joy of freedom. 🪹As described in the book Zhejiang Folk Houses about Fayun Ancient Village: "Yellow earth is used for the walls, stones are piled up for the foundation, and wood is used for the walls, windows, doors, and black tiles." White walls and gray tiles are representative of Hangzhou residences, with earth walls built of yellow mud and straw, covered with layers of palm leaves; the outer walls of the stone foundation are lined with flowers and trees as fences. The various furnishings that go with it make people feel a sense of ancient charm and hermit atmosphere. 🍵Enjoying tea before the rain, singing bowl meditation, and Tai Chi are naturally some of the great pleasures of living in seclusion here. Surrounded by seven famous temples, at the time of the morning bell and evening drum, follow the ancient Shangxiang path from Amanfayun to the famous temples, follow the monks in the morning chanting of Sanskrit sounds, and the sound of wooden fish gradually enters the realm of Zen, seeking inner peace and tranquility.
