Avoid the crowds and hike on the small hiking trail outside Faxi Temple

Faxi Temple has been a popular temple on the Internet for many years, and parking spaces are tight if you drive there on non-working days. I vaguely remember that when I went there for the first time in 2015, the place was sparsely populated and the mountain was quiet, which was very suitable for relaxing and worshiping Buddha. However, there is a niche hiking route here, which I have walked three times. On the right hand side of the entrance of Shangtianzhu Faxi Temple, there is a mountain road leading to Shangshili Langyao. You only need to walk ten minutes longer to avoid the crowds and hike along the ridgeline. Nearby is Tianzhu Mountain, the highest peak of the West Lake Group. When the weather is fine, you can overlook the West Lake and the Qiantang River. 📣Route Guide Turn right out of Faxi Temple - go left on the fork road - follow the sign for Shangtianzhu Mountain Pass (turn left here to go to Longjing Village) - Sanfencha - Wanlinbei Mountain - Wuyun Mountain - Jiuxi. When you arrive at Sanfencha (where there is a pavilion), you can go to Meijiawu, Jiuxi and Yunqi Bamboo Path. The average altitude of Shili Langyao is 200 meters, and the climb is about 150 meters.
