|Grand Hyatt Hangzhou Review. ✨ Highlights: The hotel is surrounded by commercial facilities, with dining, shopping, and entertainment all nearby. 🐉 West Lake is just across the street, making it a great choice for first-time visitors to West Lake. [One] Hotel Rooms: I booked a 42 m² lake view twin room 🛏️. Rooms at this hotel 🏨 are in high demand, and it's almost impossible to book during holidays, so I visited on a weekday. 😘 The room layout and design are classic Hyatt style, but as an older hotel by West Lake, the rooms are not very high, and the space feels a little cramped. The overall style is old Chinese, with red tables and chairs and some wooden boxes as decorations, giving a heavy feeling that matches the West Lake scenery. [Two] Hotel Service: I was offered a room upgrade at check-in, but as the hotel was full, I couldn't use the Globalist suite. Nothing else to note, service was average. There were a lot of people that day, and there was a Tencent dinner event, so the hotel staff seemed a little overwhelmed. [Three] Hotel Dining: 🥳 I had to catch a flight ✈️ out of Hangzhou the next morning, so I had an early dinner. The buffet was quite varied, but nothing special. [Four] Conclusion: 🎊 Apart from being right next to West Lake, the location is good, but everything else is average. There are always a lot of people. If you're visiting Hangzhou for the first time, you can try it out. You can hear and see the music fountain ⛲ by West Lake from your room at night.
