Xiling Seal Art Society - The Most Famous Seal Art Society in China

📍Introduction: Xiling Seal Art Society was founded in 1904 by Zhejiang seal artists Ding Fuzhi, Wang Fuan, Wu Yin, and Ye Weiming, with Wu Changshuo as the first president. The society aims to preserve seal art, study seal art, and promote calligraphy and painting. It is the oldest, most accomplished, and most influential international folk art group for the study of seal art, calligraphy, and painting, and is known as the "most famous seal art society in China." Xiling Seal Art Society is located on the west side of Gushan Hill in West Lake Scenic Area, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. It is east of Bai Causeway, west of Xiling Bridge, north of Li West Lake, and south of Outer West Lake. The society's site includes many ancient buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties, with exquisite gardens, beautiful scenery, and rich cultural landscapes. Cliff inscriptions can be seen everywhere, and it is known as the "most beautiful place in the lake and mountains."
