Come to a Japanese-style secluded resort away from the hustle and bustle｜Hangzhou Mushou Xixi

Mushou Xixi Hotel is located in Xixi National Wetland Park in Hangzhou. The hotel is close to water paths and land routes, and includes natural plain water networks, wild vegetation, and distant hill views, vividly presenting the environmental genes of Xixi Wetland. The overall architecture and landscape of Mu Shou Xixi were jointly created by GOA Elephant Design and Zhang Tang Landscape. The design concept is based on the cold, quiet, lonely, wild and secluded natural atmosphere of the wetland, using architecture as a medium to evoke resonance between people and primitive nature. Xixi Wetland is different from the Jiangnan water town in the usual sense. In more than 1,800 years of natural evolution, it has been endowed with original ecological features and profound cultural memory. The architects hope to convey the unique aesthetic value of Xixi Wetland to visitors through design and create a resort hotel exclusively for Xixi Wetland. This concept also became the origin of the hotel's name - "Mu Shou" means that the farmer deliberately leaves the last fruit on the tree and shares it with the birds to pray for a good harvest next year - this attitude of sharing with nature runs through the design process of the Mu Shou Xixi project. The landscape design also maintains the original wetland atmosphere, while using small-scale, point-based juxtaposition techniques to insert some trails, hydrophilic platforms and structures. According to the unique sunrise and sunset and climate and meteorological factors of the site, the descriptions of the 24 solar terms in Zuohe River, such as "Rain Water", "Spring Equinox", "Grain Rain", "Summer Solstice", "Beginning of Autumn", "Autumnal Equinox", "Winter Solstice" and "Minor Cold", are taken as the design concept basis for important landscape nodes, and corresponding landscape sculptures are customized to connect the landscape design elements of the entire site in an orderly manner. The project presents different aesthetics as the scenes change with the seasons. The waterway flow line is designed based on the original landform of the wetland, allowing modern people who are accustomed to traveling by land to go to the hotel along the ancient waterway and gain another perspective on the Xixi Wetland in the gentle sound of the rowing boat. If there were no noble scholars with lofty aspirations, it would be a waste of the forest and the mountains. Strolling in Xixi Wetland, the trees guarding Xixi are hidden in the dense forest, interpreting the poetic beauty of this primitive nature. The hotel's 43 rooms are spread over four separate buildings. The furniture design of the guest rooms is based on different room types, including tea room furniture, beds, bedside tables, bedside stools, TV cabinets, sofas, mini bars, sinks, etc.
