Feilai Peak Carvings: A Treasure of Zhejiang's Stone Carving Art

Feilai Peak, also known as Lingjiu Peak, is one of the many peaks located in the scenic area of West Lake in Hangzhou. The peak is neither large nor high, with an elevation of only 168 meters. The entire peak is almost covered with Buddhist stone carvings from the Five Dynasties period, totaling more than 340 statues. The stone carving art is the best in Jiangnan and can be compared to the Dazu Rock Carvings in Chongqing. Among the scenic peaks of West Lake, Feilai Peak is considered the foremost.
