It echoes the Leifeng Pagoda from across the West Lake. ⛰️ Ha Ma Peak: The best spot to overlook West Lake from Gem Mountain. The big rocks can be quite slippery, and it's a bit perilous with rugged, strange rocks, but it's very worth climbing. ⛩️ Baopu Taoist Temple: Founded in the Jin dynasty, this Taoist temple is dedicated to the worship of the Taoist master Ge Hong. Besides the Ge Xian Hall, there are also the Red Plum Pavilion, Baopu Furnace, Banxian Thatched Cottage, Yuancheng Hall, and other buildings, with an admission fee of 5 RMB per person. 🔆 Chuyang Platform: Walk down from Baopu Taoist Temple, take the left path and climb the stairs for about 5 minutes to reach Chuyang Platform, the best spot on Gem Mountain to watch the sunset. This small platform offers a panoramic view in all directions, a place for exercise and rest. ⛩️ Agate Temple: No reservation required🆓, closed on Mondays, it is the former site of the Agate Temple, now transformed into the Lian Heng Memorial Hall, mainly for visitors' enjoyment. 🐝Features: The Gem Mountain stele is inscribed by the artist Sha Menghai. The entire route is a stone staircase that offers a stunning view of West Lake, very friendly even for beginners, and takes about 1-1.5 hours to complete.
