The yellow walls of the Shangtianzhu Temple

In the heart of Hangzhou mountains I found what has become my favourite temple in China. The bright yellow walls and amazing roofs make it a wonder to look at. The temple was a calm among the busy tourists. I got there at 6:30am which was great as it meant there were a lot less people and I could really enjoy the temple in peace. When walking to the top of the temple and then looking down at the amazing roots one can't help but be memorised by it. There were also libraries filled with very Old books which we could see monks readings.
