Zhao Wangcheng Museum

The Zhao Wangcheng Ruins Museum is located within the Zhao Wangcheng Ruins in the southwestern suburbs of Handan City, Hebei Province. The building is modeled after the "Dragon Terrace" style, with nine stories at the base and five stories above, blending ancient charm with modern design. The museum displays architectural components such as rice-shaped bricks and roof tiles, as well as artifacts like a bronze tripod with animal-hoof-shaped feet and cloud-patterned lid. It also features displays of rainproof and drainage facilities and a large-scale reconstruction of the Dragon Terrace palace in the western city of Zhao Wangcheng. The ruins have preserved the complete layout of a Warring States period capital, making it significant for the study of capital city construction in the early feudal society.
