This privately-owned garden just outside Hamilton town center, is home to lush lavender fields and blueberry bushes. Driving from Hamilton town takes about 15 minutes while it is just 10 minutes away from Hamilton Gardens. The place is wonderful for photos with the family. You can sit down and relax among the fields of lavender and enjoy a cup of coffee or ice cream from the kiosk. But other than that, there was not much to do as the blueberries have yet to blossom. If you're looking for gifts, Lavender Backyard Garden distils their own essential oils, natural aromatherapy and skin care items which are for sale in their quaint little shop.
