Not to be missed temple in Hakone

This really is a must-visit attraction in my opinion. It is easy to find, only a two minute walk away from Sengoku bus stop. The temple has been there since 1356, and the numerous statues are each meant to represent a monk who lived and died at the temple. It is very peaceful, since it is not very well-known (yet), and beautiful all year round. There is also an adjoining cemetery, which was very interesting to us since Japanese cemeteries are unlike any we have seen anywhere else in the world. There are also toilets available, should you require them. In 2024, I want to visit this place again. #2024wish
