Hakone Gōra Park

#2024wish Free entrance with the Hakone freepass, and it's definitely worth your while. It's so picturesque and lovely. There's a lot to see, from a greenhouse to a teahouse, from rose garden to water fountain. And they have ice cream, a fancy looking cafe and a couple of shops.My friends and I planned to have up to a brief hour at the park while skipping around Gora for the morning. We ended up spending most of the morning there. It's really nice, even with the rose bushes bare. Do devote at least 2 hours (prolly 3) to be able to explore the entire park. The sandwich? cafe is way overpriced, prolly cause of the pet friendly gimmick. The Bara (rose) soft serve is worth it though. I wish to go back in 2024
