[Kanagawa] Pola Museum of Art

This art museum is operated by Pola, a major cosmetics company in Hakone. Both the interior and exterior are sophisticated and make your heart dance! The number and quality of the artworks are also impeccable. I was able to appreciate a variety of Western art, including works by Henri Matisse, Monet, and Pollock. In the museum, there was also a workspace for color research. As you would expect from a cosmetics company, they are devoted to researching the colors that are produced by mineral pigments. I felt that the quality of Japanese cosmetics is indeed very high. I didn't have time to go to the cafe in the museum, so next time I would like to take my time and enjoy the open cafe space. #besttrip2023
