Emerald Lake in Dachaidan is located in Dachaidan Town, Dachaidan Administrative District, Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province. It features a unique salt lake landscape and belongs to the magnesium sulfate subtype salt lake. Under the blue sky and white clouds, on the vast land, the salt beds appear light blue, emerald green, or deep blue... like a jade garden, dreamy and illusory! If Chaka Salt Lake is the mirror of the sky, then Dachaidan Emerald Lake is a brand new sky mirror, an extraordinary scenery that has not been overly developed, known as the 'Tears of God'. Due to the different mineral elements in the lake water, it presents green, blue, yellow, brown, and other colors. Against the backdrop of the blue sky and white clouds, it looks like pieces of beautiful jade scattered on the earth, stunningly beautiful. ♥ Tickets: Tickets 50r, small train 60r ♥ Playtime: Recommended playtime is 3-4 hours ♥ Travel Route: 1. After collecting the tickets from the visitor center, queue up to take the small train to platform 2 (no stops along the way). Upon getting off, you will see the Tiffany Blue Lake. The three blue lakes here are all very beautiful, especially under the sunlight, so you can stay a bit longer; 2. Cross the roadway to reach the Apple Green Lake. There are also some yellow and olive green lakes around here that you can photograph. Then take the small train back from this side; 3. No need to stop at platform 3, go directly to platform 4. This place is also very photogenic, especially the walkway in the center of the lake, which many people consider the most beautiful lake; 4. Take the small train to platform 5. There is a tail and a piano here. When there are many people, you may need to queue to take photos with the piano. If you have good stamina, you can explore further inside; 5. Then take the small train to platform 6. There is an Emerald Lake stone monument here where you can take photos. If you are not interested, you can go directly to the exit. ⚠️ It is recommended to focus on taking photos and playing at platforms 2, 4, and 5. You can even skip getting off at other platforms.
