Tropical restored arcades presented along Qilou Old Street will definitely provide you an opportunity to feel Portuguese vibes while staying in China! 🚌🚎🚕 It is super easy to get here on public transport as the bus stop has the same name as attraction itself. 🏡🏠🏚 After going through main gate you'll enter pedestrian street full of small restaurants with Hainan cuisine, gift shops and several local museums, that can tell you a lot about local culture and history of Haikou. 🍔🍟🥪 There are plenty of small shops selling fruits, different ice cocktails and of course restaurants, serving famous Hainan coconut chicken! The further from main gate you'll go, the more reasonable prices will be. Imho, it is better to visit this street in the evening, as it is getting more picturesque with all these colorful blinking ligts. The deeper you'll dive, the more unpolished and contrasting environment will become.
