The overall feeling of arriving at Sofitel on the first day: In terms of appearance, it pursues more artistic and design sense. From the lobby to the front desk to the guest rooms, the layout design is personalized and reasonable, the color matching is harmonious and advanced, with brown as the main color. The hotel check-in desk is located on the upper floor, connected to the restaurant upstairs and can be directly reached via the spiral staircase (this is very convenient without having to run around). Because the restaurant is on the upper floor, the view is very wide, and you can overlook the sea view and yachts and ships in the distance🚢. Don’t forget to take a few photos here if you live here (it’s really beautiful)☺️ The breakfast is very rich in variety, more inclined to Western food, integrating the local characteristics of Hainan. We all agree that the Hainan pickled noodles here are delicious😋 Now let’s talk about the guest rooms: the privacy is very good, the sound insulation is very good, and the layout of the guest rooms is both personalized and practical. A very innovative design: on the left side of the entrance is a triangular bathroom, with the bathtub placed on the inclined surface, which visually makes the bathroom look very high-end (and makes good use of the space). Under normal circumstances, placing a bathroom there would take up more space, causing other areas to become smaller and the room to look cramped. And the washbasin is a complete large mirror🪞, so visually the bathroom looks particularly large. There are also curtains, which makes it look very technological and environmentally friendly🍃! Sleeping experience: I am a person who loves to sleep and I am very particular about my bed. We all slept well here that day. I personally slept for more than 8 hours. The bed was super soft and I loved it haha. There was no strange noise from the air conditioner. Another point is that there is a real-time weather forecast in the room, which is a very considerate design for people who are traveling. It can prevent unexpected weather events. After all, the weather on the island can change at any time! The only drawback: the hotel's service attitude is very good, but there may be some confusion in the connection between departments, resulting in failure to handle customer needs in a timely manner, which may easily cause customer dissatisfaction. This will have some impact on the accommodation experience. Anyway, I don't think it's a big problem if it is improved in time. There is another point that I care about: 😅 I don't know if the hotel follows the concept of environmental protection or what. If the bathroom and toilet are used at the same time, the toilet will not be able to flush cleanly due to lack of water. So it seems that if you want to flush the toilet, you can't use water elsewhere within ten minutes (meaning you can't flush the toilet if you wash your hands, and you can't flush the toilet if you take a shower🚽. If you use the toilet at the same time, there will be insufficient water supply. This is a serious bug. I hope it will be fixed. I think everything else is good. The overall feeling is still good.
