Must-visit in Haifeng, Shanwei: Jiming Temple on Lotus Mountain

Haifeng Jiming Temple is located in the northern part of Haifeng County, Shanwei City, Guangdong Province, within the Lotus Mountain Forest Management Area, 13 kilometers from Haifeng County. It is situated on Jixin Mountain, surrounded by Lotus Mountain and Yinping Mountain. The temple was originally built in the sixth year of the Chongzhen reign of the Ming Dynasty (1633) by the eminent monk Yinzhen, who raised funds from local gentry and merchants. The original site was 5 miles from the current location, at the foot of Lotus Mountain. The peaks behind the temple are lush and green, with the main peak of Lotus Mountain towering high, the mountains stretching endlessly, and mist swirling around, creating a fairyland-like scene. 2. The newly built Caishen Hall in Jiming Temple, constructed 24 years ago, is a place where you can burn incense and pray for wealth. 3. There is also vegetarian food available, but only for breakfast and lunch. After eating, you need to wash your own dishes and utensils and put them away. 4.
