A Day Trip Near Tokyo - Hiking and Autumn Leaves at Mount Takao

Continuing our autumn trip to Mount Takao this year 🥾⛰️🍁 You can enjoy the autumn leaves while hiking! Mount Takao is about an hour and a half from downtown Tokyo, accessible via the emergency subway line from Shinjuku Station. Mount Takao is comfortable and easy to walk, with various viewing points, making it worth visiting again! 🫶🏻 However, the autumn leaves season is much later this year, and many leaves are still green 🍃. They might turn red faster after this week's cold wave! Itinerary Reference 🚏 We followed hiking route No. 1, connected to No. 4 and No. 5, then back to No. 1. The entire hike took 5 hours, highly recommended.
