The log cabins are scattered at the foot of the mountains, some houses seem to have been uninhabited for a long time, dilapidated and buried in snow. On one side of the village is the national border, vast mountains, rarely visited by humans. The sun rises and sets, the night sky rotates with the stars. Living here is like being in a place outside of the world, humanity feels insignificant, like a grain of sand in the ocean.
Transportation.
In winter, you can drive here, but you must have a four-wheel drive and snow tires.
The roads here are no longer cleared of snow by humans and are covered with snow.

Although it's not my first time in White Habba, this stay still amazed me. "White Habba Light Encounter Bar" is a local Kazakh elder's house, just renovated this year, the house is very new.
With underfloor heating and smart toilets, the decoration inside the house is also very artistic.
The best part is its location💯, away from the village center, right next to the White Habba monument, from the window you can see the border fence and the snow-capped mountains of Kazakhstan in the distance. Drinking coffee in the house and watching the changing light and shadows outside the window, even my mood became much more open,
The entire homestay has only 4 rooms, surrounded by darkness at night, and if the weather is good, the sky is full of stars. That night, the Big Dipper hung clearly in the sky and the Milky Way was faintly visible, it was truly almost tearfully beautiful.

Baihaba Village is located on the border between China and Kazakhstan, only 1.5 kilometers away from East Silek in Kazakhstan, and a border pass is required for entry. Known as the "most northwestern village," from the village, one can gaze at the mountain ranges of Kazakhstan across the way. The village is quiet and retains an ancient simplicity and pristine nature. The grass turns yellow a bit later than in Kanas, and if you could stay for a few days, it would be quite pleasant to wander around the mountains on horseback.
For a long time, the people here have maintained their simple and honest folk customs. The residents are hearty yet carry a hint of mystery, which, along with the primeval forests, log cabins, rising smoke from cooking fires, and faint morning mist, create a fairy-tale kingdom.

Baihaba Village, the most northwestern village in China

Taking advantage of the wedding leave, I visited Altay, Hemu, Kanas, and Baihaba, which were incredibly beautiful. I was lucky to have three days of clear skies, with no mountain closures or heavy snow. The snow scenery under the clear sky was superb, and every day I enjoyed the view of the sunlit golden mountains. Moreover, the time difference in Xinjiang allows everyone to wake up at 9:30 am to watch the sunrise without any pain. I highly recommend every travel enthusiast to visit Xinjiang at least once, as all the photos are direct outputs from a mobile phone!

Day1.

The plane arrives at 12:30, and you can stroll around for half a day.
After getting off the plane, go to the train station to store your luggage first.
Eat at Silk Road Appointment - Xinjiang International Grand Bazaar - Consulate Lane - Hetian Second Street.
The 11:20 pm train to Altay.
After arriving in Altay, take a chartered tour, which is worry-free and convenient.
Day2. Hemu

Get off the train at Altay Station at 9 o'clock.
Arrive in Hemu at 2:30 (have a meal in Burqin on the way, and drive slowly in snowy weather).
