Riverside Fortress

#summervacay Dangposeong is one of those places that sneaks up on you, in the best way. It’s a flatland fortress sitting right where the Imjingang and Hantangang rivers come together, making this cool triangular patch of land that feels kind of like nature’s own fortress playground. It’s not your typical mountain fortress with crazy steep climbs, so it’s super easy to explore without breaking a sweat. Walking around, you get these chill riverside vibes with water flowing on two sides and old fortress walls quietly standing their ground. It’s peaceful, low-key, and definitely a nice change of pace if you’re used to crowded tourist spots. There are some info signs to fill you in, but honestly, the real joy is just wandering, snapping pics, and soaking up the unique scenery. Perfect for a relaxed afternoon trip, especially if you like history mixed with nature without any fuss. Bring your sneakers and enjoy the riverside calm!
