A Day Trip to Guiyang: Explore Guiyang in Less Than 24 Hours!

1. Arriving from Liuzhou, I reached Guiyang North Railway Station at 14:20. I took the subway directly to the Guizhou Provincial Museum with my luggage, where I stored it for free. I started my visit at 15:00 and left at 16:10. 2. I took the subway directly to a hotel near Qianling Mountain Park. After a short rest, I headed straight to Qianling Mountain Park (free admission), which was about a 15-minute walk. 3. I started my visit around 18:00 and left around 17:30. 4. After dinner, I returned to the hotel to rest. 5. The next morning, I woke up at 7:00, had breakfast, and left the hotel at 7:30. I took the subway directly to Yangmingci Subway Station and started exploring Dongshan Park at 8:00. After hiking up the mountain, I left around 9:00. 6. I walked about 10 minutes to reach Yangming Temple, a national key cultural relic protection site. I spent about 40 minutes exploring the temple and learning about the life and achievements of Wang Yangming, a remarkable figure from the Ming Dynasty. 7. I took the subway back to the hotel, which took about 20 minutes. After freshening up for about 20 minutes, I left for the train station about an hour early (by subway) and smoothly boarded the 11:47 high-speed train. Thoughts: As it was my first time in Guiyang, the trip was a bit rushed, but it was also very rewarding. I managed to visit four places, all of which were quite impressive and representative of the city. This was thanks to the convenience of Guiyang's subway system and the hotel's location near Qianling Mountain Park (also close to the Spray Pool) and next to a subway station, which saved us a lot of time.
